We love our new Kitchen Aid 12 cup food processor! Its very well constructed. This is my second Kitchen Aid food processor - we replaced it with this larger one because of the size. I had seen it demonstrated on television. We had originally purchased the first one because of my Crohn's disease - I was able to eat more salads because of shredding the vegetables. People with Crohn's have digestive problems. Then this year, my husband was diagnosed with type II diabetes. People with diabetes should eat more vegetables; thus we opted to make more tossed salads in a higher volume. My older model was just not enough to handle the job efficiently. With the 12-cup food processor I am able to spend less time making enough salad for five days. What really amazed me about this product was the wide-mouth pusher on it. I also think that this processor is a lot safer to use than the old one because of the little knobs on the blades. We were amazed at how nicely it sliced cucumbers. Our food processor is used several times a week and we consider it one of our best investments. Everyone that has ever eaten a tossed salad at our home has always remarked about how the lettuce and other fresh vegetables are shredded. With having Crohn's disease, this appliance is a blessing - I am now able to eat and digest vegetables without pain. This is one of the best appliances we ever purchased.

I bought the Hamilton Beach Chef Prep because the reviews were good and I have a professional HB blender, which I love. The HB Chef Prep food processor I received has a clear, sturdy work bowl and the accessories are nice. Lots of power-good capacity-easy to use-positive lock and unlock-very stale base. If you want great purees, use an immersion blender. I'm very satisfied with his food processor. It is a wonderful machine, it is all it could be, No loss of power and it replaced an older model the wife just loves it she uses it almost every day. Thanks Hamilton beach for a great product, and Amazon for the quick delivery.

I bought this product to speed-up the dinner process, particularly salads. It has worked very well. The biggest problem was in learning how to assemble the system; that is, learning which direction each piece turns to snap into place. That was a very minor inconvenience that was eliminated after using the device a few times. (It is explained in the instructions, but who likes to review instructions every time.) As they say, practice makes perfect.

The device is solid and doesn't move around when in use. The noise is at an acceptable level.

I very much like the ease of cleaning the device. After each use I spray and rinse with water and throw the parts in the dishwasher. My part of cleanup takes about fifteen seconds.

I would recommend getting a blade storage device with this product. The blades are VERY sharp. You do not want to be fumbling around in a drawer for them. I chose the Blade and Disk Holder which holds the parts nicely. I would recommend this product to others.

This is the best food processer available. I gave it to my brother for Christmas & received a demonstration of all the wonderful features of this product. It is very easy to clean & use the many features. All the pieces are well constructed to give long breakfree life. The motor doesn't bog down even when kneading bread dough.

The food processor arrived in perfect condition. I have used it several times and it works great. Although this particular item came from Macy's, through Amazon.com, I have ordered several items direct from Amazon and have been very happy with everything I have received.
The old one lasted 20 years. Can't vouch for the durability of the new cuisinart, but it is just as easy to use and gets the same good results.

The bowl and drive-post sleeve of my 26-year-old Cuisinart food processor have finally developed cracks so I started looking for a new one. Since I no longer need a full-size processor, I decided to try the DFP-3 Handy Prep. It arrived just a few days after my order was placed with Amazon and I am delighted with it. It's sturdy, heavy base fits into a small space on the countertop and it chops and shreds as efficiently as the full-size machine for a fraction of the price. I love it.
